Vibration sieves
the all-rounder of the sieving machines

Vibration sieves are set into vertical and horizontal sieving motion by the imbalance of vibration motors. And this with high amplitude.

This is transferred to the product to be sieved via the screen insert, causing the product particles to “jump” up and down on the screen mesh. Depending on the particle size, they either fall through the sieve meshes or remain on the sieve insert.

Vibration sieves are very versatile in their application. In combination with screen mesh cleaning, they are suitable for almost all common screening tasks, a wide range of products and a broad grain spectrum.

Core components of
vibration sieves

Vibration motor(s) – The heart of every vibration sieve is the vibration motor.

Depending on the screen type and size, Engelsmann sieves are equipped with one or two motors.

Adjustable position of the motor to adapt the horizontal and vertical screen excitation to the material being sieved.

Sieve trough with sieve insert – The product falls via the inlet onto the screen inserter. The screen excitation conveys the product through the screening machine and sieves it. Varies depending on the task:

the number of sieve decks

the mesh size of the sieve fabric

the screening surface and

the number of outlets on the sieve trough

Frame – The sieve machines are mounted on a frame.

The frame is mounted on springs– this prevents the vibrations being transferred to the frame.

The frame is either securely anchored at the bottom or stands on a chassis (mobile version).
