JEL UZ-2 Lump Breaker
The lump breaker is suitable for soft to very hard, brittle products. As a preliminary crusher for fine milling, as a control crusher in pipelines, after dryers, centrifuges, mixers or Big Bag emptying stations: JEL UZ-2 is used when the product must be lump-free for the subsequent process.
The JEL UZ-2 crusher consists of a mounting frame, housing with filling hopper, control and motor. The machine is suitable for many types of products – from soft to hard and brittle.
Two parallel crusher shafts equipped with crusher stars and spacer sleeves serve as crushing tools. The number and shape of the crusher stars and the use of the spacer sleeves depends on the product and the required degree of crushing.
The JEL UZ-2 is available in different versions. It can be designed as a stationary solution or as a mobile variant, incl. intervention protection. If required, additional filters or useful supplements such as a sieve insert can be integrated.

Method of operation of the JEL UZ-2 Lump Breaker
The crusher is fed with agglomerated product from sacks, Big Bag stations or construction-side conveyor systems. The material falls onto the two crusher shafts fitted with crushing tools via the filling hopper.
The shafts rotate in opposite directions to each other. The crushing elements thus continuously intermesh with each other and draw lumps of material in. They apply enough energy to break and crush even harder agglomerations so that they can be processed further on in production.
When it is suitable crushed, the product falls downwards out of the machine and is collected in containers or transported away by suitably docked conveying equipment.
