  • You will support our existing and potential new customers primarily from the Ludwigshafen location.

Your field of activity:

  • Preparation of quotations: You will be responsible for preparing quotations for our process engineering components and systems. You will analyse and evaluate customer requirements and specifications and carry out the technical design, taking into account safety requirements, explosion protection guidelines, applicable regulations and the state of the art. You will also prepare precise calculations.
  • Cross-team collaboration: In close collaboration with our customer advisors, purchasing, design and production, you will ensure smooth coordination and realisation of projects.

Training 2025: Technical Product Designer (f/m/d)

As a technical product designer specialised in machine and plant engineering, you use computers and special programmes to convert the specifications of design engineers into technical drawings for the new construction and modernisation of machines and equipment.

Varied training content

Interesting tasks and topics await you, such as:

• CAD creation of technical drawings of machines and plants
• Collaboration in product development and order processing
• Implementing designs in teamwork with engineers
• Drawing up accompanying technical documents, e.g. component, device, parts and spare parts lists, overview plans, functional descriptions and operating instructions
• Running simulations and creating diagrams

Start and duration of training

Training as a technical product designer takes 3.5 years. With good performance, the duration of the training can be shortened by half a year with the approval of the IHK.

The start of the training is always 01 September. If this day falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the start of training is postponed to the first day of the following week.
