Drum hoop mixer JEL RRM Mini-II
Drum hoop mixers are suitable for mixing powder to granulate products or for coloring plastics, dissolving solids in liquids and many other taks.
Like its big brother, the JEL RRM, the laboratory mixer version has a drum hoop frame. It consists of a transversely stiffened double collar with an obliquely positioned container mount. The drive is accommodated in the housing.
The mixer can be fitted with a 5.5 l Plexiglas container or a 5.0 l stainless steel container. Other sizes can also be attached by using adapters.
The rotational speed of the drum hoop mixer can be continually adjusted via the display. To increase mixing intensity, a mixer insert can be placed in the mixing container. The appliance is compact, easy to clean and can be operated intuitively.

Method of operation of theDrum hoop mixer JEL RRM Mini-II
The mixing container is placed obliquely in the drum hoop frame, secured with clamp closures and placed together with the frame in the receptor of the housing. The mixing procedure can now be started via the display.
The frame is set into a horizontal turning motion. A tumbling motion is created in combination with the oblique positioning of the mixing container in the drum hoop frame.
Centrifugal force and friction lift the particles of the material being mixed, which then slide or fall back into the material. All the components are thereby mixed according to the free-fall mixing principle- even if there are different quantity ratios or different grain sizes.
