Remove products with poor flow properties– continuously, without bridging or core flow

The JEL AV is available as a complete solution with container or as a flanged-on floor for silos, containers, bag chutes, filters, screening machines and similar. Both variants are equipped with a motor-driven scraper with discharge arms.

The supplied container is available in different sizes and can also be negatively conical if desired. This facilitates complete emptying. For highly adhesive products, special coatings and material variants are also available.

Further components of the JEL AV are the motor for the scraper, the control system and access points for cleaning and inspection – depending on the size, right up to the manhole. Also as a special design, especially with regard to confined spaces.

Method of operation of the JEL AV discharge unit

When the discharge unit is started,the clearer bar starts to rotate at the bottom of the container. The material is moved to the outlet opening by the clearing arms.

The clearing arms of the JEL AV are wedge-shaped and run very close to the edge of the container walls. This creates a forced clearance, with no bridge formation or core flow . Even products with poor flow characteristics or high adhesion properties are cleared optimally.

An inverted cone container helps the feed in of material from above. The clearance rate can be controlled by changing the rotational speed. One or more downstream dosing coils are even more precise. Both container and clearer are easy to clean.
