Pigment Muller JEL 25/53-III
Pigments in paints, varnishes or similar must be durable and colorfast. With this pigment muller, you can quickly and easily assess whether your paint has the stability and intensity of color that you desire or not.
The pigment muller consists of a lower glass plate, a hinged upper glass plate with a hand lever and a load bracket with removable weights. Other components are a drive motor and control.
The JEL 25/53-III is designed for rubbing pigments in paste form. Sequences of tests with comparable products are also possible.
Tests with material quantities between 3 and 7 grams are possible with the pigment muller. It is easy to clean, intuitively operated and robustly constructed.

Method of operation of the Pigment Muller JEL 25/53-II
The paste-form color sample is placed on the lower glass plate and the upper glass pate is folded down. Different weights can be placed on the load bracket to adjust the pressing force of the glass plates.
During the color rubbing process, the lower mill plate turns while the upper plate is held still. The pigments are thus constantly moved under pressure.
After a specified time has elapsed, the JEL 25/53-II switches off automatically. Different sequences of tests can be carried out due to variable weights and easy to operate control.
