Rolling Drum Mixer JEL FRM
Drum roll mixers are practical, uncomplicated free-fall mixers. And ready to mix in no time at all. Perfectly suited for small, frequently changing material quantities. No matter whether for coarse or fine, dry or liquid product.
The JEL FRM rolling drum mixer consists of a frame with a roller track for holding the drum, a floor level ramp for rolling the mixing drum in and motor and control system. Depending on the size, suitable mixing drums are available, which can be centred and fixed with a variable holder.
The mixer achieves an intensive mixing effect which can be increased further with suitable mixer inserts. There are only a few low-wear parts fitted in the JEL FRM for easy cleaning, long lifetime and simple handling.
With a compact and robust construction, the rolling drum mixer can be used in small areas and in different production environments. Safety guards are available for more security.

Method of operation of the JEL FRM
The drum is placed in the mixer manually via the ground-level ramp and positioned between two roller tracks. Here, it is centered and held by an adjustable bracket.
The motor sets the shaft with the guide rollers in rotation. The drum starts to turn horizontally and a gentle, even mixing movement arises.
The particles are moved upwards in the direction of rotation to then slide or fall back into the mix – depending on the specific slope angle. They are thus mixed according to the principle of free-fall mixing.
If required, an additional mixer insert can increase the mixing intensity even further. When the mixing process is complete, the next barrel can simply be introduced without any cleaning work – even if the products are different.
