The heart of the sieve machine is a round sieve basket or sieve half-shell and a rotor with tools.
The rotor either slings the material to be sieved from the interior against the sieve mesh (centrifugal screening machine) or pushes it gently through the mesh with straining bars (strainer).
Centrifugal screening machines and strainers can be constructed on a frame firmly anchored in the ground.
However, the sieves are often integrated seamlessly into systems without a frame.
The sieves than cause hardly noticeable dynamic forces on building or steel structures.
