Drum mixer JEL TRM
Drum mixers also master materials with unfavourable mixing properties. They work according to the principle of forced mixing. Perfect mixing results – for doughs, pastes or dry mixes.
The drum mixer is available in various sizes up to approx. 10 cbm. The centrepiece is the cylindrical mixing drum. It is mounted horizontally between two support frames and has large doors for good accessibility during cleaning.
Inside the mixer is the mixer shaft, which can be equipped with various tools depending on the application. Special equipment such as cutter heads for dissolving agglomerates, mixing tools for doughs and pastes, spraying devices with special seals and much more are available.
If required, the drum mixer can be docked to a charging and discharging system and the process can be automated.

Method of operation of the JEL TRM
The drum mixer is fed via one or more inlets. The mixing tools inside the drum are either built onto the mixer shaft or mounted in the inner wall of the mixing drum. Rotating belt spirals can be used for particularly gentle mixing.
Set in rotation, their shape forces the mix into a whirling, three-dimensional movement. The components are thus intensively mixed – even if the individual components of the mixed material vary greatly in terms of quantity ratio, bulk density or grain size.
Adjustable speeds and the selection of suitable mixing and crushing tools enable a wide variety of tasks to be mapped. After the specified mixing time, the mixer is emptied almost completely via the outlet.
